Retired Ministry of Communications employees protested again in Tabriz.
This was widely reported on the local social media network.
On June 8, pensioners gathered in front of the Ministry of Communications' local offices to protest the lack of pension increases, late payments, and violations of other legal rights.
According to reports, pensioners chanted slogans demanding that government officials consider their applications. The protesters, holding placards with their demands, claimed that the Ministry of Communications supports the shareholders of communications companies while turning a blind eye to violations of workers' and pensioners' rights.
They held up placards with slogans like "End years of oppression of retired communications workers!" and "Fulfill constitutional requirements for pensioners," among other protest messages.
It should be noted that, despite the fact that pensioners from the Ministry of Communications have been protesting with the same demands for several years, their issues have not been resolved until today.
