Two Azerbaijani Turks, Sadiq Qudsi and Ilya Qudsi, from the city of Tikantepe in the West Azerbaijan province, were killed by government forces in Qala Hasan Khan, Tehran, by regime forces.
Sadiq Qudsi and his cousin, Ilya Qudsi, were shot in the back by regime forces during protests in the city of Qala Hasan Khan.
The regime demanded 800 million tomans for each of their bodies to be handed over. However, the families were unable to pay this amount, and the regime forces handed over the bodies after the families committed to declaring that their children were members of the Basij forces and had been killed by "terrorists".
Sadiq Qudsi was 38 years old and had two children. Ilya Qudsi was 17 years old. They were originally from the village of Hampa in the city of Tikantepe in West Azerbaijan.
